MY NAME IS
Chris
I was born in Thessaloniki — between the narrow streets of the city and the open breath of the village. Since I can remember, I’ve been drawn to create: to shape, to paint, to transform whatever I touched into a world of my own.
I never studied at an academy. My teachers were silence, observation, and the hands-on language of materials. I learned from the old masters through their books, from the earth beneath me, and from the instinct that art grows from within...
Painting, sculpture, iconography — each a path I walk with reverence and curiosity. Each material a voice. Each work a quiet moment suspended in time.
I do not seek perfection. I seek presence — the feeling that something true has emerged through color, through texture, through touch.
Today, I live and create in Plaka, on the island of Milos — a place that holds light like a secret. From here, I share my art and my knowledge through workshops, conversations, and the simple act of making.
